MK Guide Recommends
Just a few blocks from Kitashinchi and away from the main noise, Sushi Sora offers a hidden 17-seat refuge for those who still appreciate silence with their sushi. The cypress counter, over 150 years old, wraps around the chef as he moves through aged tuna, white fish, and shellfish with an almost liturgical focus. Nipponbare rice meets old-school red vinegar, while house-aged techniques give each piece a layered character. The entrance, often code-locked, signals you're in for something reserved and intentional. A handful of counter seats, a few tables, and a quiet private room complete the picture.
