Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, located in the Tempozan Harbor Village, is one of the largest public aquariums in the world. It features over 15 large tanks representing various regions of the Pacific Rim, with the centerpiece being a massive 9-meter deep tank housing whale sharks. Visitors start their journey on the 8th floor, spiraling down around the central tank, observing marine life from different depths and perspectives. The aquarium hosts over 30,000 creatures from 620 species, including otters, sea lions, penguins, dolphins, and jellyfish. Interactive exhibits and special areas like the "Japan Forest" and "Antarctica" enhance the visitor experience. Kaiyukan is renowned for its educational and entertaining displays, making it a must-visit for families and marine enthusiasts.
