MK Guide Recommends

Opening onto Nakasu’s neon pulse, THE LIVELY KITCHEN is located at the heart of The Lively Hakata's ground floor. Designed like a stylish street-stall area under a spandrel ceiling, it seats about 80 guests in a space that feels both casual and artistic. Breakfast features croffles and Japanese morning options made from local ingredients; lunch offers seasonal pasta or set meals; and in the evening, it transitions to a three-course Japanese-Italian menu—popular among locals for the ¥5,500 “girls’ night.” It's a spot for midday breaks, celebratory dinners, or post-show cocktails at the nearby Lively Bar, all thoughtfully curated with a focus on seasonality, storytelling, and shared moments.
