Rokurinsha

Legendary Tokyo-station tsukemen destination famed for its thick noodles dipped into super-rich seafood–pork broth.

Tsukemen, Fish-Pork Broth, Station Dining, Casual Counter

MK Guide Recommends

At the end of Tokyo Ramen Street, Rokurinsha draws long queues—often 40–60 minutes—even late at night. Its signature tsukemen pairs supple, cold thick noodles with a deeply flavored broth made from pork, chicken, loads of dried fish (niboshi), and bonito powder, simmered into a creamy umami punch. Diners are given bibs to protect from splashes as steam rises over open counters . Once noodles are nearly gone, refill the bowl with a citrusy fish stock (“soup wari”) to round out the meal. The shop operates no-reservations, cash-only style with a vending-machine ticketing system—all part of the streamlined commuter experience.
