MK Guide Recommends

Nanzenji Hyotei Hibiyaten brings Kyoto’s Hyotei legacy to the center of Tokyo, adapting its 400-year tradition into a peaceful, third-floor space inside Tokyo Midtown Hibiya. The kaiseki course here reflects the Kyoto flagship—light broths, seasonal vegetables, grilled fish—with precision, restraint, and timeless flavor. Each course follows a seasonal progression, served with subtle care in a modern interior that avoids distraction. Although the Tokyo branch is newer, the soul of the original remains: hospitality conveyed through quiet gestures and dishes that reflect the passing seasons. Reservations are recommended to ensure the full experience.
