The Institute for Nature Study, located in Tokyo's Minato ward, is a serene nature reserve dedicated to preserving the natural environment of Tokyo's forests and marshlands. Established as a research and educational facility, the park offers visitors a peaceful retreat with 20 hectares of lush greenery, ponds, and diverse wildlife. The park's trails provide an immersive experience into Tokyo's natural beauty, featuring over 1,400 species of plants and 2,100 species of insects. The Institute is part of the National Museum of Nature and Science.
