Established in 1954 by Morito Omiya, Aji no Sanpei is credited with creating miso ramen, a dish that has become synonymous with Sapporo's culinary identity. Located on the fourth floor of the Daimaru Fujii Central building, this compact eatery features counter seating, offering an intimate dining experience. The menu highlights their signature miso ramen, characterized by a rich, flavorful broth complemented by curly noodles—a style that has influenced countless ramen shops nationwide. Operating hours are from 11:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Tuesday through Sunday; the restaurant is closed on Mondays and the second Tuesday of each month. Please note, Aji no Sanpei operates on a cash-only basis and does not accept reservations.
