MK Guide Recommends

Casime Gastropub, located at the entrance of Keyaki Street in Fukuoka's Akasaka district, has quickly become a favorite since its opening in October 2022. The establishment offers a unique blend of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine, featuring staple dishes such as hummus, baba ghanoush, and merguez. Meats like lamb kofta and Kumamoto Akaushi beef are slow-cooked over a wood fire, resulting in a crispy exterior and juicy interior. The menu is complemented by a selection of craft beers, including their original drafts like the "Saison" and British Red Ale, as well as natural wines with around 80 varieties available. The interior design combines the ambiance of a British pub with the warmth of a Mediterranean home, featuring a 6-meter-long mahogany counter and an open wood-fired grill visible from most seats. The gastropub is a collaboration among former DEAN & DELUCA Fukuoka alumni, bringing together culinary expertise and a passion for quality dining.
