MK Guide Recommends

Odori Park is a 1.5-kilometer-long urban park in the heart of Sapporo, extending from Nishi 1-chome to Nishi 12-chome. Originally established in 1871 as a firebreak, it has since evolved into a beloved green space featuring lawns, flower gardens, fountains, and sculptures. The park is a hub for major events like the Sapporo Snow Festival in winter, the Lilac Festival in spring, the YOSAKOI Soran Festival and beer gardens in summer, and the Autumn Festival showcasing Hokkaido's culinary delights. Odori Park also offers pleasant strolls, picnicking spots, and a relaxing environment for both locals and tourists.
