Every year, the Otani River in Kinosaki is lit with delicate floating lanterns, and the sky follows suit with breathtaking fireworks. Toro nagashi is the custom of setting the lanterns free, and anyone visiting the festival can write their dreams and wishes on the paper lanterns to send them floating along the river. Illuminate the water with a lantern, then admire the skies illuminated with summer fireworks.
