MK Guide Recommends
Located in Nagoya’s southern hills, the Nagoya City Agricultural Center (also known as dela Farm) is a blend of working farm, educational facility, and community green space. The center is especially famous for its ume (plum) blossoms in late winter, when over 700 trees bloom in pink and white across the hillside. Beyond seasonal beauty, visitors can enjoy walking paths, vegetable gardens, and barns with chickens, cows, goats, and other farm animals. It’s a popular spot for families and school groups wanting to learn about sustainable agriculture and rural life without leaving the city. The farm also sells fresh produce, handmade dairy products, and baked goods, along with a small café on-site. While it’s not a flashy attraction, the center’s relaxed pace, natural setting, and educational focus make it one of Nagoya’s most underrated escapes.
